It's officially SUMMER TIME! School is out and it is time for some fun in the sun, to unwind from a long school year!

There's so much to do in Charlotte in the Summer, here's just a few things to fill your Summer time calendar with!

Have extreme fun in white water rafting, zip lining, and completing challenging ropes

Swimming

What’s Summer Break without a dip in the pool! Charlotte has so many pools, just remember to BE SAFE!

And our friends over at Charlotte Five have created an awesome list of Charlotte area pools! But if you really want a pool with style check out the Le Méridien Hotel pool. Of curse you'll have to ask your parents to reserve a room or rent the pool, but it is definitely a great treat for a summer birthday or special occasion!

Color Runs

If you have not done a color run then you don’t know what you are missing! And you can always find great deals on sites like Group On and Living Social. Check out our calendar for dates.

Go Hiking

Fall is a great time to hike! Go to Crowders Mountain to hike, while watching the fall foliage!

Skating If it’s too hot outside, try taking a roll around a rink! The Charlotte area has several skating rinks where you can escape the heat!

Here's a Charlotte staple in the Summer. And perhaps the ultimate fun place in Charlotte Carowinds. Carowinds features, Games, Rides, and Shows. This one is a guaranteed good time!

Go biking on a Greenway

There are many Greenways in Charlotte, Sugar Creek, Mallard Creek etc. to take a nice bike ride and have a good time! You can even rent a bike for a day, with Charlotte B-Cycle.
