Charlotte TEEN Claims NCHSAA #2 Title In Track and Field-500 Meters Finals

Congratulations are in order for a well deserving Charlotte TEEN!
Qua-Ronz Robinson is a junior at Harding University High School, where he is affectionately called "Q". At Harding, "Q" is known for having a charismatic spirit and is a devoted member of the track and field team.
On the track team "Q" has led the Harding Rams to a new level, under the direction of Coach LaSonja Collins!

On February 11, 2017 "Q" competed in the NCHSAA 4A Indoor State Championship Meet, and was coined #2 in the State of NC, Men's 500 Meters Finals.
Pulling in a time of 1:05:55 in the Men's 500 Meters Finals, followed by Mallard Creek's Canoy Tyree! "Q"not only set a personal record, but breaking 2 of Harding's school records in 1 week!
According to "Q"'s coach,
""Q" came to our Track Team from a smaller conference, with a can do attitude, that sets him apart from most athletes!" - LaSonja Collins
Back in August when Collins started to recruit members for the track team, her goal was to take Harding's Track and Field to a new level! After several announcements, she said that "Q" sought her out stating that " I want to help Harding turn the track team around."

Shortly, after their first meeting "Q" started coming to practice, workouts and study hall. And from the first time Coach Collins saw him run, she said "I knew I had a star on my hands."
